People Aren’t “Out There.” They are WITH YOU. – from P. Desmond Adams

P. Desmond AdamsĀ gave us this great tip:

“Be WITH your listener ‘out there.’ Relate as if you’re not doing your show from your studio. Saying things like ‘out there’ creates a feeling of separation. Instead, act as if you’re doing your show while:

  • Jogging
  • Cooking
  • Driving
  • Working

My traffic reports are done ‘from the passenger seat.'”

Great tip, Desmond. Thank you!!
